Inward Dialing Modification allows you to alter the dial strings of inbound calls for a link.
Use this form to select the digit modification rule to apply to the ISDN "calling party" type headers of inbound calls. Use the Inward Dialing Modification form to create the rules.
To manipulate the called party number (i.e., the number that the caller is trying to reach), use the ISDN Called Number Inward Dialing Number Modification form.
See Program Embedded PRI/QSIG Trunks for additional programming requirements and procedures.
Applies only to embedded E1 ISDN links programmed as Euro Standard protocol.
Inward Dialing Modification is performed AFTER Inward Dialing Prefixes are applied. To avoid confusion (and misdials), use one version of modification to alter the dial string.

Select an index number between 1 and 100. Index numbers refer to the digit modification rules programmed in the Inward Dialing Modification form. If the initial digits of an inbound ISDN calling party number sent over this link match the criteria programmed for this index number, the system will modify the number. |
